Recover Cart Sales Tool is an admin utility for Zen Cart allowing merchants to send individual or bulk email messages to customers whom have set up a shop account and added items to their shopping cart, but for various reasons did not complete submitting an order (this is known as an 'abandoned cart'). The tool also generates a report listing the "possible" response to your email, informing you if customer followed up with a purchase from your shop. The email sent to these customers may help educate your customers about your shop and at the same time assist merchant in identifying trends and individual reasons behind abandoned carts. Use this tool diligently. Compose your email message carefully. Don't burden your customers with undesirable repeat messages. The idea here is to "recover" sales and reduce abandoned carts, not lose customers.

If you want to send email to your customers automatically, you must use the abandoned cart alert pro.

Hello Chu, This could be because I updated to 1.5.5 zencart. I get this if I access the cron directly:- Warning: require_once(DIR_WS_INCLUDESapplication_top.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/gemtree/public_html/cron/recover_cart_sales_automatically.php on line 5 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'DIR_WS_INCLUDESapplication_top.php' (include_path='/home/gemtree/public_html/:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/gemtree/public_html/cron/recover_cart_sales_automatically.php on line 5 I figured I would try it to see if it would work. I think the latest zencart has altered configure.php file a little if that helps. Or shall I add it back in somehow as a statement in the file? DIR_WS_INCLUDES might not be referenced anymore Regards, James

Thank you for question! I think you can open my file and change DIR_WS_INCLUDES to includes/ and it should work.

Best Regards,
